On Thursday The 18th we went Strawberry Picking down near Witlich. We were supposed to go with the Home School Group but just couldnt get out of the house on time. Mom was going to go in to work at her new job and got all dressed up for that, then after we got there, she found out that she didnt need to come in until Monday. So strawberry picking we all went, mom dressed up in nice clothes and everything. The elderly man that was running the stand was WONDERFUL he was very sweet and helpful, we ended up picking about 8lbs of strawberries. He didnt even charge us for Mattea's little box, he said it was a present, since she had picked them all by her self! It was a Great experiance, lots of fun, and Mattea did really well, she didnt even eat a single strawberry until we were all done and paid for!

When we got home Téa and my mom (Nana) made strawberry short cake for all of us, it was a great dessert, and she had such a great time.... Did I ever mention that this little girl LOVES to cook, she loves to be in the kitchen, and help in anyway she can, its so great! I look forward to the day that she cook ME dinner... though I am not ready for her to be that big just yet.

Hello From Germany!

so I think I put off starting a blog for a very long time, as I am not all that good at sitting still and writing things down on a regular basis. Anyways I wanted to have a spot where I can post pictures of all of us and keep you all in the loop with what is going on in our side of the world.

so first I will post a few pictures of Mattea, now 4yrs old, and some from her birthday party, We had a tinkerbell party and all the little girls (and the little boy) dressed up, we played tinker tag and were garden fairies, and planted flowers. it was a beautiful day and we got to spend it out side in the garden, it was wonderful.
